A Party for Every Occasion
In our flexible space we can accommodate lots of people downstairs in the party rooms and upstairs in the main shop area – up to 60 people in total.
We’re not licensed, but you are welcome to bring along your own favourite alcoholic refreshments and nibbles when booked in our party room or a special package.
Although especially popular for children’s parties, we cater for all — school outings, clubs, hen/stag parties, work team-building, or just an evening social. We open late on Wednesdays (by appointment) and also welcome bookings on other evenings for twelve or more.
Hen Parties
Have fun with friends doing an activity together – and you have something to show at the end – not just a hangover! Allow a couple of hours for a bit of creativity.

Teambuilding
Groups, leaving parties, school groups – a great way to spend time getting to know each other or catching up. Packages from just £15 – weekdays. See below for all the packages or speak to Gill if you would like something different.
Birthday Parties
Celebrating a birthday with a difference – everyone gets a present and has a couple of hours of fun – and we do the clearing up! Lots of different packages to suit the budget or size of group – see below
Hen Parties
A member of staff will explain how to use the materials and gives advice on colour and design. The session takes place in our party room which enables you to bring your own nibbles and drinks.
PACKAGE 1 – Minimum 8 people - £20 per person
You are provided with a selection of mugs, plates or bowls to decorate. The hen is also given a larger item for everyone to decorate or sign as a memento of the day.
We allow up to 2 hours.
PACKAGE 2 – Minimum 6 people - £25 per person
The group is either given:
A) a breakfast set including teapot, jug, sugar bowl + selection from mugs/plates/bowl etc.
the number of items depends on the size of the group
or
B) a choice from a selection of favourite items and a larger platter for everyone to sign for the hen
We allow up to 2 hours
PACKAGE 3 - Minimum 6 people - £30 per person
A member of staff gives a taster session on how to throw a pot and everyone has a go.
You are also provided with:
a) a plate or a bowl or mug to decorate
or
b) a large item for everyone to decorate and sign
You may also return at a later date to decorate your thrown pot. If you prefer we can glaze and fire it for you.
We allow up 2- 3 hours
PACKAGE 4 – Minimum 10 people – £variable
Studio fee £5 + price of pottery. Party Room Hire for up to 2 hours £20
No minimum if you have your party in the main shop.
Have one of the Party Packages on a Sunday and receive free courier delivery to 1 address in the UK
Groups – Teambuilding
Leaving parties, team building exercises, or just an afternoon out – we’ve got the perfect place to get away from it all. And our space downstairs can be tailored to your individual requirements.

Kimberly Clark enjoys an away day in the North Laine learning to paint and throw pots.
PACKAGE A - Minimum 4 people - £30 per person
A studio assistant gives a taster session on how to throw a pot and everyone has a go.
You are also provided with:
a) a plate or a bowl or mug to decorate
or
b) a large item for everyone to decorate and sign
You may also return at a later date to decorate your thrown pot. If you prefer we can glaze and fire it for you.
We allow up to 3 hours.
PACKAGE B – Minimum 6 people - £20 per person
You are provided with a selection of mugs, plates or bowls.
We allow up to 2 hours.
PACKAGE C - Minimum 10 people - £15 per person
You are given a choice of mugs to decorate.
We allow up to 1½ hours
We can also provide refreshments:
Morning Snack – croissant with hot drink: £3.50
Afternoon Tea – a slice of cake or a muffin & a hot drink: £3.50
The team building sessions are available Monday to Friday. Please talk to us if you have any special requirements.
Children’s Parties
Children of all ages love it as they can let their imaginations run wild. You’ll love it because we clean it all up afterwards!
For six kids or more we offer our Special Birthday Packages…
We will explain how to use the materials and give advice on colour and design. The party takes place in our party room which enables you to bring your drinks & cake. A member of staff will stay with you to help.
BRONZE PACKAGE – Minimum 10 Children - £15 per child
Each child is given small plate to design and decorate. We also give a small heart decoration for all the children to sign for the birthday child.
We allow up to 1½ hours.
SILVER PACKAGE – Minimum 6 Children - £20 per child
The children are given a selection of pottery to paint including mugs, plates, bowls and vases. The birthday child also gets a larger item for all the children to sign.
We allow up to 2 hours
GOLD PACKAGE – Minimum 6 Children - £25 per child
Fairies or dragons – let the children decide. Great ornaments. The birthday child also receives a money box for friends to sign. We paint a special birthday tile.
We allow up to 2 hours
PLATINUM PACKAGE – Minimum 4 Children - £30 per child

Children may also return at a later date to decorate their thrown pot. Suitable for 8 years+
We allow up 2-3 hours
The Party Room is available to hire for up to 2 hours for 8 children or more any day except Saturday for £20.
No minimum if you have your party in the main shop.
For all party bookings for six or more we will require a deposit to be paid over the phone. With 24 hours notice, any changes in numbers will be reimbursed on the day.
